In 2016, Ashlie began a weight-loss journey. During this time, she began to learn about nutrition and how the body works. She was successful in her journey (after many trials and errors) and wanted to know more, so she attended the Maryland University of Integrative Health and became certified as a Health and Wellness Coach in 2021. While in the coaching program, she decided to go a step further and pursue a master’s degree in human clinical nutrition.
As a nutrition intern, Ashlie is dedicated to helping others achieve their health goals through proper nutrition and education. She is passionate about helping each individual achieve optimal health through integrative and functional perspectives. Ashlie always strives to create a comfortable and supportive environment for her clients, and she looks forward to applying her passion and knowledge in a safe and non-judgmental space. Ashlie is most interested in working with women of diverse backgrounds. This includes women who are trying to conceive, those who are not, as well as those who have specific health conditions or food allergies.
Outside of work, Ashlie enjoys hiking, exploring nature, traveling, roller-skating, cooking, baking, crafting, and cozying up with her tabby cat, Marley.
